About Bald Cypress
A deciduous conifer native to Texas river bottoms, pyramidal when young with feathery foliage that turns rust-orange in autumn. Handles standing water and, once established, dry ground too.
Where it is used: Detention ponds, drainage corridors, parking lots and large sites; anywhere wet feet would kill another tree.
