Shade Trees
Live Oak
Quercus virginiana · container grown in #45, #100, #200, and on to #300

About Live Oak
The signature evergreen shade tree of Texas: a broad, spreading canopy on a stout trunk, long lived and tolerant of heat, drought, wind and coastal conditions. Live Oak is the largest crop on the farm and the one most often specified in volume for commercial work.
Where it is used: Streets, parking lots, campuses, large residential lots, anywhere a wide evergreen canopy is drawn.
